As a Practice Manager within the Cisco Manufacturing Business Transformation team, Mr. Killian leads a team of advisors across the central and western United States focusing on Cisco’s largest manufacturing clients. His responsibilities include understanding his clients’ top business strategies and aligning to new approaches where Cisco enables improved business performance. His team’s recent focus has been on digitization and IoT (Internet of Things) platforms that accelerate innovation and drive operational excellence outcomes.
Mr. Killian has over 25 years of experience working with manufacturing clients in a variety of roles. Mike comes to Cisco from Hewlett Packard, where he held positions in consulting, business development, and client management roles with several global manufacturing clients in automotive, process, and high technology markets. Prior to HP, Mike spent 15 years in the PLM or Product Lifecycle Management marketplace with Intergraph Corporation, Agile Software (now both part of Oracle) and Engineering Animation Inc. (now part of Siemens PLM) in various leadership roles including Director of Manufacturing Solution Sales. During this time, Mike worked with numerous global clients driving innovation around ideation, early sourcing, NPI, core product development and digital manufacturing strategies. This is where Mike developed his passion for helping clients with their product development, manufacturing, and time to market initiatives.
Mike’s diversified experience across a variety of manufacturing clients and technology platforms provide valuable experience for Cisco to drive results with our manufacturing clients.
Mr. Killian holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Eastern Michigan University, and resides in Plymouth, Michigan.
